1. Corrosion resistance: the materials separated by centrifuge are generally corrosive. The materials in contact with the materials must meet the requirements of corrosion resistance to ensure safe use.
2. The material type (304, 321, 316L, titanium plate), sealing ring, gasket material, surface treatment measures (plastic lining, rubber lining, surface spraying Halar), and filter cloth material should be determined before the selection. The nature of materials (chemical properties, separation temperature, etc.) can be informed to the manufacturer during the selection, so that the manufacturer can make suggestions on the selection of centrifuge materials according to the characteristics of the separated medium, and indicate them in the order to ensure the anti-corrosion requirements of the centrifuge.
3. Explosion-proof performance: if the materials (or environment) processed by the centrifuge contain flammable and explosive substances such as organic solvents, the centrifuge must have explosion-proof performance. The explosion-proof performance depends on the explosion-proof requirements (grade) of the process. In the past, only the explosion-proof motor was proposed. But in the past two years, most of the processed materials containing organic solvents, such as solvents, have put forward the requirements of nitrogen protection. In fact, in order to realize the real explosion-proof of the centrifuge, various measures should be taken in terms of machinery, electric control, accessories configuration, etc., such as:
Electric control system: explosion-proof barrier, non-contact energy consumption braking system, electrostatic grounding, explosion-proof automatic control.
Mechanical system: explosion-proof motor, explosion-proof lighting, anti-collision measures, anti-static transmission belt.
Explosion-proof accessories: nitrogen protection device, nitrogen online detection, on-site explosion-proof control button.
Therefore, in the case of explosion-proof requirements, the users should specify the separated medium, explosion-proof requirements and grades, configure corresponding devices and take appropriate measures to meet the explosion-proof requirements when ordering.
